Mader City Small IPTV System structure has two Levels. Level 1 is IPTV Operation Center, Level 2 is City Node Center. There are Management Server (with Web Server and Database Server functions) and IPTV Gateway (converting Live TV Program Signal to IP video stream) in IPTV Operation Center. The City Node Center has Transfer Server and VOD Server.

Transfer Server has been used for transferring the IP video stream to the end user after receiving the IP video stream from IPTV Gateway. The end user connects with Transfer Server directly, no need to connect with IPTV Gateway. Another important thing is that only single IP video stream has been transferred between Transfer Server and IPTV Gateway, it means saving a lot of broadband occupation for IPTV system backbone network.

Transfer Server is a very important design for IPTV system extending, for example, if you want to provide Live IPTV Program service in a new city, just setting up Transfer Server in the new city node center, no need to set up IPTV Gateway again. It is a very fast, easy and low cost solution for IPTV system extending.

VOD Server has been located at City Node Center, it is good for reducing the broadband occupation between IPTV Operation Center and City Node Center, it is good for VOD Server to provide fast and stable VOD service to the end user.
